WHY CCA TREATMENT IS A GAME-CHANGER FOR TIMBER
At Bundu Poles, we don’t just sell timber — we help you choose the right product for the right job. Every pole, plank, bearer, lath and dropper we stock is sourced from reputable mills and treated to recognised South African standards, so you can build, fence, and landscape with confidence.
Whether you’re a contractor pricing a large building project, a farmer replacing orchard supports, or a homeowner building a deck, our range covers every need. CCA-treated poles and structural timber form the backbone of our product offering, complemented by decking, cladding, latte, droppers and a full range of SA Pine planks.
We stock both 1-sided and 2-sided pole ranges, giving you flexibility in design and budget. All CCA-treated products in our range meet SANS 457-3 or SANS 1288 treatment standards and carry H3 to H5 hazard class treatment.

H4 - Outside Ground Contact
Built for direct contact with the ground, where moisture and soil increase the risk of decay. Used for fence posts, retaining walls, and structural poles in the ground.
H5 - Outside Heavy Soil & Fresh Water Contact
The highest level of CCA treatment, engineered for severe conditions including prolonged soil contact and fresh water exposure. Recommended for jetty poles, bridge timbers, and posts in permanently wet or waterlogged environments.
